Meet the Fido Skilled Volunteer Search team
Fido Skilled Volunteer Search is a service offered by The Centre for Volunteering which incorporates Volunteering NSW and the School of Volunteer Management. The Centre for Volunteering is the peak body for volunteering in NSW.
Denis Porter, Fido liaison officer, is responsible for liaising with non-for-profit organisations on the details of vacant positions, liaising with colleagues in The Centre for Volunteering's volunteer referral service on current skilled and professional vacancies being handled by the service (some of which are included in the Fido advertisements each week), preparing and editing the Fido advertisements and sending details to The Sydney Morning Herald each week.

Kristin Romanis runs The Centre for Volunteering's communications and marketing department and her team is responsible for emailing the Fido Skilled Volunteer Search e-bulletin to over 1,000 volunteers each week and keeping the Fido Skilled Volunteer Search website up-to-date.
Fido Skilled Volunteer Search is managed by a committee made up of several members of The Centre for Volunteering staff: Kristin Romanis, Communications Manager; Odessa O'Brien, Corporate Volunteering and Volunteer Services Manager and Jan Cosgrove, Membership Manager; Kristin Romanis, communications manager.
Tim Hardy, co-president of Fido Fido Skilled Volunteer Search (originally Friends In Deed Organisation) from 1999–2005 and current Director Client Relations of Enrich Australia, has made himself available to The Centre's new Fido Skilled Volunteer Search Team to answer any queries that arise to ensure continuity of service.
