If you are a current rideshare driver you will pass the minimum requirements to be eligible to become a Fido member.
Are there any extra costs?
At Fido we offer flexibility for our driver partners. You can choose whether you want unlimited kilometres so the only extra costs you need to allow for is fuel, traffic offences, tolls and any repairs or damage not covered by insurance or warranty. OR you can choose from one of our limited kilometre plans where if you do exceed the weekly limit you will be charged 7.5 cents per kilometre over the set allowance.
Do you have proper insurance?
Yes, to be an official Uber Vehicle Solutions Partner you must have the appropriate Rideshare rental insurance. This is like having your own comprehensive insurance on the car however the cost is included in the rental amount.
Can I drive my car for personal use?
Of course, however we do have a maximum distance of 150 kilometres from the Perth CBD unless approved in writing by Fido management.
What kind of documents do I require?
We will require a copy of your valid driver’s licence (with the current address) plus either your passport, birth certificate or citizenship certificate. In addition to a current bank statement
