Frequently asked questions
What if I want to leave town for a week or more?
No problem! As long as you give us at least 1 weeks notice, you can drop off your vehicle and pick up your new one when you get back saving you weekly rental charges while you were enjoying your time away.
What if I don't bring my vehicle in when asked?
We give our customers plenty of time to be able to organise their day so they can come in and pick up their new car. If for some reason you can’t make it, we will organise a time that is suitable for you. If the notified driver doesn’t turn up without given prior notice, then there will be a daily charge of $75 deducted.
What countries do Uber and Ola operate?
While both are ridesharing companies, Uber is bigger than Ola, so it’s available in more places. Uber is international, with services all over the world. Ola is only available in India, UK & Australia. When it comes to cost, Uber and Ola are similar in regular charges. There are times where people are more likely to call a rideshare service, and Ola and Uber both increase their prices. However, Uber rates can increase more than Ola’s.
Do Uber drivers require any extra training?
No, Uber drivers do not require extra training, but they do have to meet certain requirements. Uber requires drivers to be at least 21 years old, have 1 year of experience as a licensed driver in the Australia (drivers under 23 years old must have 3 years of experience), have a valid driver’s license, and drive an eligible 4-door vehicle.
What is the difference between Uber and Ola?
One difference between the two is that Uber also offers you to pick from 'wi-fi' enabled cabs of the options mentioned above while Ola Cabs lets you schedule a booking for a ride to be completed later too
